New alliance as a game changer in the energy landscape
BeliVert, Batimont and Battery4Industry Join Forces in a Game-Changing Move for the Energy Landscape. With the support of investment fund Impact Expansion, BeliVert and Batimont are joining forces alongside Battery4Industry. Together, they are taking a significant step forward in their growth journey. Following last year’s acquisition of Ingelec, a company active in industrial electrical engineering, this collaboration creates a full-circle, 360° sustainable energy offering for both businesses and households.
The partnership combines expertise in solar panels, EV charging stations and battery storage, responding to the growing demand for integrated and scalable energy solutions. In today’s context, where energy security is crucial, this new constellation is open to further partnerships or acquisitions of entrepreneurs who share its collaborative values, aiming to create lasting impact and drive progress in the sector.
“The addition of Batimont Solar and Battery4Industry to the group marks a milestone for our organization,” say Thomas Watteyne and Frédéric Dargent, co-CEOs of BeliVert. “Together, we are uniquely positioned to meet the increasingly complex needs of both industrial and residential customers with dedicated teams.”
Complementary strengths
Over the past 15 years, BeliVert has built a strong reputation in sustainable energy solutions, with solid roots in the residential market and growing experience in B2B projects, including battery storage.
Batimont Solar now strengthens this story with in-depth expertise in large-scale B2B projects, specifically in solar panels and EV charging infrastructure for industrial and commercial clients. “We are delighted to join forces with partners who share our vision and standards. Together, we will deepen our expertise and continue to deliver the quality our customers expect,” say Edelhart Olivier and Mathias Vandaele, co-CEOs of Batimont Solar.
Battery4Industry completes the picture as a specialized partner in industrial battery systems (BESS). The company was founded by bringing together complementary areas of expertise and delivered more than 20 MWh of battery storage for industrial clients this year. This experience forms the foundation for the next phase of growth. Afschrift will remain involved as a strategic partner in building the future of Battery4Industry.
“Thanks to this partnership, we can continue to focus on our core competencies while delivering large-scale integrated energy solutions as one team and setting new standards for customer satisfaction,” says Karel Florizoone, CEO of Battery4Industry.
An ambitious growth story
This new alliance is considered a game changer in the Flemish energy landscape and represents the next step in an ambitious growth strategy. The combination of expertise enables the smart integration and management of PV installations, EV charging, battery storage and industrial electricity.
Together, the partners bring more than 55 years of experience. With short decision-making lines and a shared ambition, they aim to offer a comprehensive approach and a clear vision on sustainable energy — from production and storage to smart energy management — for both B2C and B2B markets.
